JetStrike loiters over the objective with an EO/IR seeker, then converts to a high-speed terminal dive.

Survivability

Exposed for seconds, not minutes

JetStrike cruises and loiters at 7,300 m, above the 5,000 m reach of short-range air defence. It enters the engagement envelope only in the terminal dive.

Time spent inside a 5,000 m engagement envelope on a 40 km approach.

At 600 km/h on a 45 degree terminal dive the descent rate is 118 m/s, so the 5,000 m band is crossed in about 42 seconds. A propeller UAV cruising at 3,000 m and 110 km/h stays inside it for the whole approach.
